I  bought some semi precious gemstone chunks and chips(undrilled).  I'm llooking or something to mount them, something like a pendant bail, but that will hold odd shaped pieces and  not necessarily dangle.  What am I looking for?

Undrilled, odd shaped, I would put them in wire cages.

Happy Beading!!

Windy, do a google for B'Sue Boutiques and then go to her bezel/frame page (look in the column on the left for it, near the top). If some of your chips are smallish, you can put them in these frames using Ice Resin. B'Sue does videos on tons of subjects and may have done one on this type of thing.

Undrilled items can also be mounted in a frame that you could make out of PMC (precious metal clay) in one of the metals they have, I like bronze and copper myself. You could make a larger frame and bail and use the Ice Resin or a glue to mount the pieces. Donna

Any chance of posting a picture so that we could get an idea about what you are dealing with?

I would search for 'bezels' or 'bezel frames'

There are a lot of different designs out there, as they have been popular for polymer clay and resin-based projects as well.

Just tossing out another thought, but I wonder if they would work with something like the two-part Crystal Clay or another type of epoxy clay that's available?
