Hi there, I just had a local store contact me about having some of my pieces in her store. Obviously she wants to buy wholesale. I've only ever sold retail. So what is the general 'rule' for pricing wholesale? Is it half of the retail cost? Help!
Thank you!

Hi Margaret,
I just went to your web site and you appear to have a wholesale form, or am I missing something? I would price my designs at least 60% over cost and let the buyer set their price. Since your work will be in the store, you can't worry about what she would charge comparing what you sell for on the Web. If you can't make money selling wholesale, then your retail prices are too low.

Hi Shanks, yes I had just added that page as it was suggested to me I should also add a wholesale option but I didn't expect somebody to respond to it so soon before I had the chance to do all the research on it. Should have done the research first I guess!
Great! thank you for the advice.
