Seed beaded ladies

One of my customers vowed last year to be her "Year of UFOs", and these two brooches were some of her finished projects. (began originally about 10 years ago, she said).

The headwear is a strip of beads folded over. 

I find them delightful: they bring a smile to my face!

My goodness they're just the ladies about town, aren't they?  They're quite pretty.  The one on the right is all ready for St. Patrick's Day.

Ruth, wow, I'll bet 10 years as a UFO is a record!!! Heck, I haven't even been beading that long. However, that said, they turned out fabulous and they make me smile too. Of course I like the green gal better as it is more in line with my fave colors, but the other lady reminds me of someone I'd run into at the Senior Center, all "dolled" up to go and meet her pals. Don't know why I think of her as older, but it feels that way to me. Thanks for showing them, congrats to your friend. Donna

Woo, they are so cute, do you made this as a pendant? I prefer to make them as a decoration to my bag.
