I was wondering what type of glue is best to use for macrame created items that would hold up to being gotten wet?
The type of glue I use at the moment is water resistant rather than waterproof, so unfortunately won't stand up to being worn when having a shower/swimming etc. Although it does hold up well being worn if the item remains dry. Is a form of super glue the only type that will work? Or is that not even strong enough to hold under such conditions of showers/swimming?

Have you given Hot Glue any thought? It may not be water proof, but only if it is soaked in water for a time. Casual water should not effect the glue.

I think epoxy is good, hope can help you. :)
Thanks for the responses. I'll have a look into the Epoxy glue and experiment a bit to see whether that might be the answer.
