Well, as I don't have much money to buy diamonds.

But I like accessories very much, then I make some rings with cheap beads.

How about you?

I love handmade jewelries as well, I would design and make them by myself!

But I think one point you should figure out is that, Not anybody love diamonds or precious beads, Why bothered that you haven't have a diamond? The one that is suitable is the best choose, regardless of the price, cheap or expensive is not the only one determined elements to affect your chooses.

Jewelrymaking11 - Not very many people here are making jewelry with diamonds and high priced stones. Some people do, yes. But not most of us. You do  not have to use expensive stones to make beautiful jewelry. You just use your imagination and what you can afford, put them together and enjoy your wonderful new piece. If you look at the gallery of different things posted by the people here, you will get many ideas. I haven't seen any with real diamonds, yet. Make something and show it to us. I bet it will be lovely.

I can't remember where I saw it, but we can make beads out of paper.  I'm looking forward to trying this.

Oh yes! I have seen many free tutorials online for making paper beads. They are wonderful. I just don't think it's time for me to start any new hobbies yet. Already I have taken over half of the house. Smile

I sell mostly to "Snow Birds" who come thru this little town. They are Traveling and don't spend alot on gifts to go back home.

So, I use copper wire(& copper washers etc  from the Hardware STore.

Beads made from, Paper(material scraps left over from quilting) Polymer Clay Beads, seed beads. Accessories from the Fishing Dept, to  paint dept

I use seed beads and buttons.(even cloth or bead covered buttons)(Bottle caps for Resin molds)

I like to making jewelry by hand too. It's a good way to save money and pursue fashion.
