Well......my absolute favorite color of colors is actually red, but....purple's a pretty close second, mostly 'cos it looks so good on me! (lol)

the beads used were purple and white.  and of course, blue around the cabachon.  the bracelet was made using flat peyote stitch with hex beads.  the cabachon was attached using more flat peyote and using smaller beads as it goes up the side to draw it in and hold it down.  the cabachon was finally attached to the bracelet.  took a lot of work, but another has been started and it's moving much much faster now.  Big Smile

thanks!  i used purple and white hex beads and stitched a flat peyote.  the cab is about 1.5 inches high and 3/4 inch wide.  it was actually a pendant and i cut off the loop for a chain.  i sewed the cab directly on to the bracelet.  more peyote type stiches.  that was probably the most difficult part.

I like the design and the fact that i can see througt the (glass?) cabochon it gives the bracelet that little extra detail.

LOL...well it is flat peyote stitch which goes really really fast.  Wink

I actually started another one yesterday.  I found a lovely piece of rose quartz and found some awesome purple/pink hex beads.  bead shopping is going to be the death of me!
