Where can I find dead soft copper wire in a variety of gauges in (or near) Ontario? :) Thanks.
Hello!
A link to beadholique: http://www.amazon.com/Solid-Copper-Wire-Gauge-Round/dp/B005BUHDOK/ref=pd_rhf_se_p_t_1
Or are you only interested in buying locally?
I love beading! Visit my shop for european supplies. http://www.etsy.com/shop/KanaansKorner
corfil.ca sells wire by the pound, I don't know about dead soft though.

I see their copper wire slection involves wire labed with the condition of "soft". So in the traditional scale that would be one degree harder than dead soft. I think this is probably not labeled traditionally though. I believe this to be "dead soft" wire.
From wikipedia: "Practically, most jewelry wire is sold now as either dead soft, half-hard, or hard, with dead soft being wire manufactured with a hardness of 0, half-hard being wire manufactured with a hardness of 2, and fully hardened wire being wire with a hardness of 4."
I know some jewelry making suppliers, but they are online wholesalers.
