I finally finished my purple bracelet I have been working on for a while.
I got stuck when I didn´t have the right colour leather. I finally found what i was looking for.
A dark purple leather

Where do you get your leather? I have a hard time finding any other then what I can find as scraps at Hobby Lobby. I have a son that does leather seats in cars and he often gives me his scraps, however the color choices are limited. Haven't seen any purple car seat lately.

this time I bought my leather in a small company in sweden,were I´m from. http://www.tnkreativt.com/skinnbandrenskinn-p-118.html?cPath=75_85
The skin is from reindeer and they got about 10 different colours and they sell them in stripes,
width :from  2 to 100mm 
length: is sold in Meter.
I really like it because I do not use that big pieces in a bracelet so this is more than enough and it is so soft.
The one i used to this bracelet is about 20mm and dark purple. I got this beautiful lighter purple leather to but I don´t dare to cut it

I used leather imitation (fake leather) to some of my earlier bracelet and I found them much more easy to embroid in, but real leather is much more beautiful.
I will probebly keep on using both depending on what I want to do next time.

Really like this...simple beacuse of the matching colours but intricate at the same time with the lovely beadwork. Very wearable.

Sue, I've seen bracelet leather somewhere.  If I run across it again, I'll let you know.  Come to think of it, you might find a supplier on Etsy.
