Hi, I'm about to put up my beaded jewelry website soon, and I have a 300 or 400 hundred pieces already. I would like to know if that's enough and how many you guys like to post a one time. Thanks!
Vacation, Most people would not stay around to look at 400 pieces. I'd suggest putting them into smaller groups like necklaces, rings, etc. and then figure out how many items show per full page and use that many...............say your web site shows 30 items per page, make up your categories and list 30 in each for starters. As soon as you have sales remember to replace them quickly so it doesn't get stale. And will you be doing some promotional work too?
List your first 100-200 items, spanning across all of your categories, and then continue to add the rest a few each day at a time. Adding new content to your website every day is great for your customers, and for search engines - plus can be valuable for promotion too!
