Are you saying you have patterns for little beaded dresses, or patterns for the mannequins? I guess I'm confused by your statement. Anyway, I hope you find your mannequins because little beaded dresses sound cool! Please share pictures of your little dresses when you are done.

Holy cow!  Those are amazing!  Can you imagine how heavy they'd be if they were life-sized?

The entire dress??!!!!  Yikes!  That has to weigh around 60-70 lbs.!  Urgh!  I lost 65 lbs. this year alone; I don't fancy having to drag it around again.  In total, over the last six years, I've lost 200 lbs.  Yay me!

Those dresses are beautiful and I think you will have lots of fun beading them. I just did a Google search for "doll sized mannequins" and came up with a reference to Hobby Lobby having them, a link on how to how to make a doll size mannequin on YouTube, and a link to a store called Alibaba.com that sold all kinds of doll sized mannequins. You might want to try your own Google search and see what you come up with, but 1st check out Alibaba, they looked very promising. Good luck!

Sharon, I believe Alibaba is more of a wholesale location where they put you in touch with a company that manufacturers the items. That said, a bit of questioning could get the name of a company or two in the U.S. that carries their products.

Aimeem, oh you've started something now............what a great new direction for beaders with tiny beads and looking for a winter project. They are certainly very very attractive and I'll bet they'd be hard to resist in  person. Good luck. Donna

Those dresses are wonderful.

I see dollhouse size dress forms on eBay every so often. You might be able to make your own with polymer clay too. You could use Sculpey's Mold-Maker for that, using an existing dress form or even a doll.

The only place I have seen them was on a Korean bead site. If I come across them somewhere else I will let you know.

Well Donna, now I feel silly! Thanks for pointing that out about Alibaba.com. My glasses are sooooooo bad I can barely read anymore (I'm distance impaired so when I wear glasses to correct for it, my reading really suffers).  Aimee, sorry for steering you wrong. I do know I've seen the mini doll mannequins at Hobby Lobby myself. Can't wait till we see you're little dresses!
