Hey everyone,

I have been working on brickstitch beaded hoops and have been using the rings from Tierracast and was wondering if anyone knew where to find thinner rings so so much silver or gold isn't showing in the center. HELP

Call or go by a local welding shop and ask if they could make you some rings from brazing rod.  You would need to know what size rod you want to work with, like 1/4. in or 1/8 in. as well as how large you want them. The price might be a little higher that you are paying, but you would have exactly what you want.

I have been having the same problem. I am considering Missficklemedia's patina rings at or If you want a marquis shape the links at art are thin. The other option is using closed jump rings in the biggest size you can find. A search on for large closed jump rings found me several options. Good Luck.

I bought a length of aluminum chain that had very large links, and that is what I have been using.  Aluminum chain is very cheap.
