I've been in necklace mode for a week now after looking at my pile of bracelets ! lol ! These are what I worked on last week.
The first two are beaded kumihimo using my bead and cabachon that was once a bead. lol !

Ooooo, I really like that swirly focal on the second one! And the red coral on the third one. That kumihimo sure is a neat patterm. Is t really tough to do when you do it with beads as opposed to just yarn or string?(btw, the first one is really cool, 'cos it looks like a checkerboard)

I love them all, but especially the third one.

Thanks very much for the compliments. Much appreciated. :)
Beaded kumihimo is much easier than it looks - believe me. And once you get started - you're hooked ! :) The patterns I'm using are from Jacqui Carey's Book The Beginning Guide to Braiding - The craft of Kumihimo. All the info you need on how to do beaded kumi is online for free. :)
Well.....if I can work it in spite of my broken thumb....maybe I'll give it a shot!
Wow! Those are really nice. I think the second one is my favorite, but I like the third one too.

Thanks Teresa. :) I now have 10 necklaces to donate to the local hospital gift shop. :) I just don't wear them. Except maybe that last one. I might keep that one. :)
All of them are gorgeous, but that first one sings to me ... those colours are awesome ... and your bead makes it !
much love

Amazing! I like the first one the best. I like the color. I think it will be suitable for the color of the shin of my neck.
