Summer themed Challenge Swap-Update 7/9

The Theme for this challenge is Summer. The below photo is an sample of this year's summer colors.  Your beads/findings do not have to be these exact colors, it was just easier for me to post a picture then write out everything :)

The Basic Idea:

Participants would need to make up little bags of summer themed bead goodies (one for each participant) and mail them to me along with 5 dollars to cover postage.  You can send 1 bead per person or 100, that will be up to you. This is not the time to clean out your pony beads or other assorted plastic beads (I think an exception can be made for lucite beads though)

After I receive all the beads, I will mail the completed kits off to the participants and there would be much rejoicing.

Participants will be given a deadline to create beaded items with the kits + items from their own stash

Sign up by sending me an email that includes your BD Name, your real name, and mailing address. Sign ups will be open to all beaders, regardless of style, ability, or location. Please email me on or before Friday, June 9th 2012.

After the sign ups end, I will post and email the total number of participants. Do not mail beads until you see the final number.

The ship to me by date will be Saturday, June 23rd.

This is Val in the rainy Atlantic NorthEast!(g)  This looks like fun, and now that I'm home(finally!) from the hospital and slowly regaining use of  my right thumb(was broken, got infected, went septic, hadTWO surgeries on it!) I would love to join in on projects again.  Send me the address to mail the beads to.  I've got some neat ones in mind!

Here is how to contact Christina or any member of BD

See where here name is beside her avitar(pic) click it and it will take you to her bio page. On the left hand side of the screen you will see her avitar and under that you will see a place that says send e-mail. Click send e-mail and a text box will pop up. Type in your information and then send e-mail.

That's it.

You might just to let her know to look for it. Type in a post in the challenge thread that you sent her an email with the info. She's good about letting you know that she got it or if you need to resend.

If  I didn't explain things well just put up another post and I or someone else will be glad to try and clear up any confusion.

Thank you!!!! That absolutely made sense.  I'm so excited to FINALLY be able  to participate in a bead swap/challenge.  I've been ill for such a long time.  I only have 10% range of motion recovered in my right thumb, but it's enough to let me work on a lot of my jewelry designs again.
