I found the Bead Fest shows, but they are pretty far, adding $500-600 for travel and accommodations. Anyone know of wire workshops in New England? The Whole Bead Show doesn't have what I'm looking for and various Internet searches haven't turned up anything.

These are the only shows I've been going to in the New England area. The shows themselves are great. The vendors and their pricing is really good, and I've been going a few times a year.

I've never taken any of the classes offered (too busy buying beads) but they seem to have a nice mix. Some beadweaving, some metal clay, chainmaille, and making findings classes. Check out their site.....there might be a show  you'd want to check out near you.

Is there a bead society in your area?  They might know.  There are some regional bead groups and wire working groups on Yahoo and FaceBook also.

Edited to add - I asked for suggestions in the Wire Wrap Texas yahoo group.  They've had members move around the country.  I'll post any responses here.
