    Looking for patterns!

Hi! I'm new to these forums!! I'm looking for patterns for beadweaving (either peyote or square stitch) that can be put onto jewellery pins. I have made these and post this piccie so that you will have some idea of what I am looking for. The head of the "safety pin" screws off and the beadwork is placed on the pin, the head is screwed back on and the pin operates as a normal "safety pin". These are the same pattern just woven with 2 different colours of Nymo thread. I have used 11/0 Delicas.

Hoping someone can direct me to some challenges!!!!

Wow, those are pretty!  Nice to meet you, and welcome to the forums.  I haven't seen patterns for pins specifically, but you could easily adapt any flat beadwoven project to suit your purposes.  You might try some of the bead pattern websites if you prefer online patterns, or check some of the beading books that are out there.  Some of the books about beaded amulet bags have great patterns that could easily be adapted to pins like that.

BTW, where did you get safety pins with screw-off heads?  I've never seen them before, but I can see how they'd be extremely useful.

Melinda, I had a look at that link and they are the pins!! They are excellent!! I attach the beadweaving with some DBLs (8/0) beads, but have found that the pin won't go through some of them.
