Don't know if this question has been asked and if so, please let me know what post to go read. I am trying to make a project using peyote stitch and it is 89 bw. I have heard of some using needles or wire to insert in the first row to keep it straight and my question is this. If using wire, what size should I use for 11/0 delicas. I tried using paperclips, but the wire is too thick.

Lucia, I just grabbed a delica (almost all I ever work with) and a spool of Darice's Colour Craft 20 gauge wire and they fit on nicely. Also this 20 gauge will be stiff enough to hold the beads straight. I don't think this stuff is expensive at all, my spool has 15 yards on it, so plenty. Donna
Thank you Donna I went and bought a piece of copper wire and will use a couple of strands but I will also look into Darice as well. Thanks again for your post.
