I have made several necklaces using a 10mm Ball Clasp that you screw together.  Some of them unscrew while you are wearing them.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to secure the clasp from unscrewing. Thanks Linda

Can't say I can help you on that one.  I quit using them for exactly that reason.  I'd be curious to know an answer to that too, because I still have some collecting dust and don't just want to throw them away.

I am not sure either. I only use them if someone requests them specifically. My mom to be exact. She has not mentioned a problem with it. It would be redundant to put a small chain with a small lobster clasp or something as a security chain so that was my only thought.

I do have one lady that has arthritis and she prefers the magnetic clasps ( looks like a large ball bead ). I wasn't sure but they are strong. I don't know if that is an option. If you used a jump ring to secure that ball clasp you could switch them out to another type of clasp.

I wish I could help more!
