I just picked up the July/August 2008 issue of PieceWork which has photos of the Pincushion Contest winners. While there was no beading category, several of the entries include beads, including a hamburger pin cushion which was bead crocheted by Yoshie Marubashi. Amazing!

Wow, how much fun are those?? Who knew pincushions could be so interesting? I just keep my pins in a plain old plastic box. I might just get inspired to make one after seeing those. My favorite is actally the Victorian geometric star. Makes me wonder if I could do one in beads...hmmm.
