Hi everyone,
I entered a challenge competition sponsored by Ornamentea. They supplied an assortment of items that had to be used to make something. (not limited to jewelry). There was a brass filagree ring blank, a small brass fork, some small brass number charms and purple ribbon. You could add anything you wanted and you could make anything you wanted, but you had to use all of the items in the kit.
You can check out all the challenge pieces on the handmade gift guide's blog.

I made a napkin ring. Its #4. If you like it, I'd appreciate your votes!

Those were interesting. You got my vote Erin! I really like how you pulled those very odd pieces together to make something cohesive and not out of whack. Nice work :)

thanks, Cat. The fork by itself is pretty easy, or the numbers by themselves would be fairly easy, but being forced to use a fork AND the numbers, well, one of them is going to be an afterthought. I see the other contestants all had the same problem. I chose to skirt the issue by using the "zeros" in the numbers as circular connectors to add pearls.
