Update us on BEAD STAR!

 Just thought I'd fish in the forums and see if anyone wants to give us some insider info on how the judging on the Bead STAR! competition is coming...

Cant wait to see the entries! When does the gallery go up?

 I am with you there. I am impatiently waiting for some kind of news as to whether or not any of my entries will be seen for voting. But the only thing that I can find is that the gallery is available to see on the 12th....Thursday.

This will be the first thing that I do on Thursday.......I hope that it is up early. I know that I will be.

Some news from the Bead Star Staff...

Well, we finally got through reviewing all the Bead Star entries! (Just in time, too. Voting starts on beadingdaily.com/beadstar tomorrow, June 12!) We received over 2,000 emails--about 1,500 of which were eligible Bead Star entries. What fun we had going through them! It was tough to narrow the entries down to 20 per category, but let me tell you: those 20 per category (180 total) are really special pieces! Come see the best of the best tomorrow at beadingdaily.com/beadstar and cast your vote for your favorites. Voting will begin at noon (Mountain Time).

 Can you tell us whether or not the finalists have be notified or whether they find out with the rest of us at the same time?

Either way I will be online at noon trying to see which ones I need to vote for. I am excited!

 The finalists will not be notified beforehand--they will have to wait until tomorrow, too!

 I got the email, but one link didn't work and the other just took me to the BeadStar homepage with no new info on it. Is that right?

I am also not able to get into the link... I thought I would wait until after 12, but it is still not working.  Anyone have another link?

 I haven't gotten an email with the link in it...but when I go the the Beadstar contest page it's just the same ole - same ole.  I'm on Eastern daylight time...what does that translate into "Mountain time"????
