Hi Michelle,
I have to agree that Valerie Hector's book should on any Top 10 List. It is such a fabulous and so well written book.
I have a book 'problem' that's almost as bad as my bead 'problem' so don't think I could narrow it down to just one book. I think that the #1 book really depends on the individual's level of beadweaving experience, main beadweaving interest and whether you are technique or project oriented.
My list of books that I could not part with:
Those Bad Bad Beads - Virgina Blakelock
Improvisational Peyote Stitch - Fearless Beadwork - Joyce Scott
The New Beadwork - Kathlyn Moss & Alice Scherer
The Russian "White Book"
The Art and Elegance of Beadweaving - Wilcox-Wells
The Art of Beadwork - Hector
Native American Beadwork - Georg Barth
Heart to Hands Bead Embroidery - Robin Atkins
Any book by Diane Fitzgerald
Any/All of the Beadwork How To Books such as Beaded Embellishments, Beading with Right Angle Weave, Beading on a Loom - etc. (I have all of them and I think of them as set)
Happy Beading,
Lidia
