Is is Teela? or is it a short I like pill? All of my bead friends say it differently and almost apologetically. We&amp;#39;ll say, &amp;quot;Oh, that&amp;#39;s made with tila&amp;#39;s, or tilla, however you say it&amp;quot;. I say tile-a, because the beads look like little tiles. Also because I&amp;#39;ve always heard that a single consonant after a vowel makes the vowel long (in most cases). Therefore tila pronounced tilla would have a second &amp;quot;L&amp;quot; to make it a short &amp;quot;i&amp;quot;. And it could be a case of potato potahto. Y&amp;#39;know?&lt;/p&gt;
