bead inventory software

I was thinking about buying a software program to keep track of my expanding bead collection.  I do beading as a hobby although I have sold a few pieces.  I found 3 programs on line and wonder if any one could guide me on which one has worked for you (or not worked).  I wanted something to keep track of where the beads were bought and the price so I have a reference to go by if I sell a piece.  Thanks for any and all help.

 I have the Jewelry Designer Manager Pro program.  It was recommended in a book about starting your own jewelry business.  It does all the things you are looking for.  You can keep track of your bead purchases and even add photos.  It also has a section for the pieces you design and help you figure out the costs involved with your designs and even helps with your wholesale prices.  It does take time to enter all the information each time you make a purchase.  I think there are about 3 different versions of the program depending on how large your business is and how much you want the program to do.  I don't really know anything about any other available programs for that end of the business.

 I have the Jewelry Designer Manager Pro also......it's GREAT! Once I got through the chore of inputting my inventory, it has been a lifesaver when it comes time to figure costs on a design. I just keep track of what I use in a piece on a post it note, then I log in the parts used....and the cost is figured for me.....and the markups.

I definitely recommend this software to anyone who wants to be more accurate with their pricing. ( I know I was always terrible at 'guessing' the costs of a made piece!) It's well worth the initial cost of the program.                         Evalie
