Oh, that's so pretty, Yeli.  What are the stones?  I love all the different colors in them - just like real  leaves.

Ohhh.. I don't know.  I bought these chips over 7 years ago in Venezuela.  They did not have the information on the type of stone.

Maybe some of the stone-experts can help.

I was inspired by Cat's Tree of life.  Though hers has an adorable swing.  I inmediately thought of my mom.  This will be for her.  She is going to love it.

I asked her: "what color?" and she answered: "green".  I should have guessed that.  She loves green and she said it was also because she wanted it to like like a real tree :)

Pretty!  I'm going to have to try one of these.  Not sure on the stones-agate or aventurine maybe?

Beautiful work Yeli.  These chips are aventurine...one of my favorite stones.

Thanks Pam.  I was suspecting Aventurine or Agate like Jeni.

I was able to tell my mom this morning which stone her tree is made from.

Oh that's so pretty Yeli! I'm not surprised that your mom wanted it in green... my first attempt of such is made of aventurine ships too, though I used a big MOP donut  for my frame.:)

I had some extra wire I cut in the wrong size, so I also made a smaller one.

Very nice, I love the stones.  Cat - you inspired me too.  I'm making one for my mom's birthday as soon as the FMG order comes in, I thought I'd do branches in the color of our birthstones for her - there are enough of us if I include the grand-kids that it should fill it out nicely.  I'll post pics when I'm done.
