Secret Santa Ears - Round 8 & 9

I dont know if people wants to have a "christmas break" - or if we still want to go ahead ... 
And an other idea is that instead of getting 1 name in November and 1 in December - how about getting both in november and we have a "2 months" on 2 diffrent persons..  That way it can be done before, during or after Christmas ....
Is that an idea .... ???

(this is not a sign up post - I just want to take a few days to figure out what we are doing with these 2 months)

 Inca:  I am glad you brought this up.  I have decided that I am going to sit this round out and December too.  With a few shows coming up and then Christmas, I am making jewelry for sales and gifts and not much time for anything else.

Please keep me in mind when January rolls around though.  Thanks.

 Hi Inca, I think 2 months to make two pairs of earrings should be ample time even with Christmas commissions looming in the future, so count me in.  I'll send you an email when you post your request for sign-ups.

If the general consenses is that we should take Dec. and Jan. off, that's O.K. too.  What about you?  Do you want to take 2 months off from the swaps?

My reason for this idea is - I am one of those that will have to rely on international shipping ... and we all know those little postal elfs are working their pointy ears off around christmas ...
But I kinda felt it being a loss that we didnt get to make out little earrings swap.
And getting everything "sorted" and so like in mid December can get stressfull ...

So thats why I got the idea - make a "dobble" round ... 2 names in November - shipping in January ....
Then its upto each and everyone to deside - if they want to make it in before, during or after christmas .... so "no rush" ... ?

 Inca-- I like the idea of getting 2 names, with the shipping time being flexable. I would probably ship out early, and just label them so that my marks can decide when to open them.

 I vote for 2 names at once and then shipping in January. Last year I was stuck in my apartment for 10 days because of snow and ice....at least in January I would have a chance to get the earrings mailed out. That and I am super busy during the holidays.

I'm totally up for it!

I'm pretty flexible, so I'll do whatever the majority prefers.  My last bazaar is in 2 weeks, and then I have to get busy making Christmas presents but I already have those planned so (I hope) they won't take long.

I'm flexible, too, as I'll have my last working day around December 1st. But I like the idea with two names in November and a flex shipping date. Sounds good! And thanks for bringing this up.

I like the idea of 2 names and shipping mid January. Gives us a chance to get through the holidays and for shipping to calm down.
