    Bangle Blanks Wanted

Hi. Does anyone know where to get inexpensive metallic bangle blanks to bead around? I have tried the craft stores and the rings they have are very large; some store do not even carry such a thing. Thank you!

I bought some on clearance in the jewelry dept of a store.  You might want to check some of the department stores or TJ Maxx/Ross if you have them.  Even Walmart might have something cheap if you're just going to disguise it with beads.

There are a few suppliers on Etsy that have them.

I think Metaliferrous has them....I think I spelled that wrong. ummm Dang...I have a list here somewhere....if you go to CoiffuresCommunity and ask pam...she will be able to tell you I bet. She is very informative. You could sign up there too...if's free...and those girls there are like here....they will help you out with ANYTHING. They are all very nice. It is CoiffuresCommunity.com.

Tell Pam that Christine sent you over to her...she will help you out!

Amy - Try Metalliferous.com.  They have an enormous selection of bangle and cuff blanks, in all sizes.  The best thing to do is download the PDF catalog for their entire base metal department, and then call in your order.  Their on-line ordering is difficult to navigate.

Let us know if this works for you.

Thanks Christine Smile This is a fun website! I wound up ordering from Metalliferous and got the right diameter, although the tubular form is rather thin. I am just going to make thinner tubular peyote, herringbone, etc with them and hope people will buy multiple to "stack".  Thanks again, AmyA

Thanks Lita. Yes, I did wander upon them, thanks to my beading mags. I wound up with the right diameter, however I expected the thickness to be greater (they are tubular opposed to flat). I have decided to create tubular designs and hope people buy multiples to "stack".

Welcome to Beading Daily Forum Amy.

I was using the 10 for $1.00 Bangles from Dollor Tree stores for the inside of the Tubular bracelets.

I have recently started using Old oxygen tubes for my Tubular bracelets.(I dip it in boiling water to sanitize before using)

Hope this gives you some ideas, maybe tubing for fish tanks would be less expensive.

Stop in often and share some of your beading pictures.
