    Dont'cha just love Boynton, Lisa?  I have a book somewhere with a bunch of his(?) cartoons and that was one of them.  Had it since I was a kid.

    Billy, glad to hear all is well for Pam!  I surely hope she's on the mend in short order.

    I do!  I saw it on a birthday card years ago and fell in love with it.  My kids know well what hippo birdie two ewe means!

    Hippo Birdie Two Ewes= Happy Birthday To You

    There's an American cartoonist that was popular back in the 80's (named Boynton) that made a birthday card with all these animals on the front.  When you opened it, the card said:

    Hippo birdie two ewes, hippo birdie two ewes, hippo birdie deer ewe, hippo birdie two ewes (think of the birthday song)
