 Awww Courtney, I feel horrible. Here we are 'neighbors' and haven't made time to get together. If you want, we can work out a day that you can visit me at my home. I bead at home every day, or all day, and I can go over 'some' stitches with you. Or, you can bring directions to something that looks interesting and together we can figure it out.

I'm not exactly there, but you're more than welcome to call me if you need help with something too Courtney.  Email me off board anytime and I'll get you my US number.  We can do virtual coffee. :)

 You ALL are toooo kind. I hope to have some time this weekend to bead (famous last words, I know.) I'll keep you posted!!!! 

 I was wondering what this was too as my husband brought me back a beautiful bracelet made with this weave made out of Swarovski bicones and seed beads.  I will try to get a picture of it and post it on here to show another way it can be used.  I have never done it but am thinking of trying it.

Sheryl:  I went to your blog.  Glad to hear you got your dog back.  That is just horrible about someone opening the gate.  Your spiral work is beautiful as is your other work.

Aaaargh, I'd love to come to MD again and teach you some stitches, but I'm not anywhere close and don't have a private jet to come over for an afternoon coffee. But of course you can mail me anytime off forum, if you like, and I try to help you out and over the frustration. Beadweaving can sometimes be tricky and even with experience some stitches make me want to throw the whole thing against the wall. So email me, before you do that!

Courtney, do you use a Mac by chance?  We could always get on iChat and do a live video tutorial...

 Jeni - I never thought of that!  You are too clever.  My iChat handle is LitaC, but I haven't signed into it in  a long while...all of my "friends" sort of dropped off or out.  I'll add it back to my menu bar and keep it opened.  Any BD member who's on iChat or AOL can find me - LitaC@mac.com, or maybe LitaC@me.com (I don't remember if the iChat handle switched when Mac.com went to MobileMe.

I would be more than happy to give Kumihimo lessons to anyone who can sign in.

 Just wanted to say Thanks for starting this thread I've now learned a new stitch and have completed 1 necklace and have started a 2nd.

 My mother likes this sooo much she announced that I needed to stop stringing and just do this spiral rope.

I added you to my iChat buddy list, Lita.  I'll have to remember to start logging on every day-I don't always remember to do it.

Courtney, email me off board with your .mac email and I'll add you in too.  You already have my email to add me.  You just have to open iChat, add me to your buddy list (the plus sign at the bottom of the window) and then click my name if it says available to start a chat.  Then I just have to have the volume turned up on my computer so I can hear it ding!

I don't have a .mac id but do have a .gmail id. does it matter? i saw that gmail is an option.
