    Looking for advice

Hi, I am looking for advice on how to avoid having finished products tarnish.  Thanks in advance for any information anyone can provide.

If you put those little silicone packets that you get in new purses, shoes, pill bottles.... that say "do not eat" they help to absorb the moisture and will greatly reduce the tarnishing, I keep a bunch of those in my drawers with my silver beads and findings and haven't and any problems since. Also, there are tarnish papers you can buy that you put small pieces in each bag with a finished piece. Or you can buy little jewelry bags that are made out of fabric that will prevent tarnish. Oh, or pieces of chalk, they also absorb moisture.

    Well, there's my 2 cents!

Thank you very much for your advice.  I had thought that might be a option but wanted a second opinion.

    Re: Looking for advice

I just purchased one yard of anti-tarnish cloth for $20.  It will make a lot of little jewelry bags.  Also, the instructions said to line a drawer or box, etc., with this cloth and it will prevent your jewelry from tarnishing.  I'm a Chain Maille artist and I do a lot of work with sterling silver so I was glad to find this cloth.  It's the same thing the anti-tarnish jewelry bags that you buy are made of.

Where did you find the cloth by the yard?
