HELPPPPP !! PLEASE, IF YOU CAN....

HI,   I AM SEARCHING FOR  COPPER, VERY THIN DISC SPACERS....10MM OR EVEN LARGER.  I PURCHASED LOADS OF MAGAZINES AND HAVING NO LUCK GOING ON ALL THE SITES.  DESCRIPTION:   I AM SURE THESE ARE NOT A REAL COPPER, BUT A METAL THAT IS COVERED WITH COPPER.  

THEY ARE ROUND WITH A CENTER HOLE....THE COPPER LOOKS DELIBERTLY   MARKED UP A LITTLE FOR BEAUTY...AND THEN THE ENDS ARE SLIGHTLY LIFTED .  THINK OF A SMALL THIN POTATO CHIP AND THE END OF BOTH SIDES LIFT SLIGHTLY.   THEY ARE REFERRED TO AS SPACER DISCS.  

I DID PURCHASE THEM FROM A SIGHT THAT NEVER REPLACES WHAT THEY SELL...AND WHEN I ASKED IF THEY COULD/WOULD REVEAL WHERE THEY CAME FROM....THEY CHOSE NOT TO SHARE[:'(]   SO I TURN TO YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE FOR SOME HELP,   THANKS IF YOU CAN.   FIRST TIME I AM DOING THIS,  BUT I WILL ENJOY RETURNING AGAIN AND AGAIN.   THANKS ALL,  HELEN

 It almost sounds like you are describing a washer. Is that something close to what you are describing?

You said they have a center hole, so do you mean like a donut shape or do you mean, center drilled?

 HI AGAIN,   MAYBE THE SECOND AND THIRD SITE ARE SLIGHTLY GETTING THERE,  BUT I HAVE A COUPLE LEFT AND MINE ARE VERY, VERY FLAT AND 2 SIDES ARE SLIGHTLY BENT WITH A SMALL CENTER HOLE TO FIT ON WIRE...I THOUGHT OF TRYING TO HAVE THEM MADE,  I JUST DON'T WANT TO PAY A FORTUNE FOR EACH  DISC OR WASHER...KEEP IN TOUCH, THANKS, HELEN

It's not something like this is it?  If so it's on Artbeads.com and they're made by TierraCast.  They are pewter bead caps with an antique copper finish.

 thanks you, i will check this out...it looks way too thick.  the one i am looking for is very very, very thin...like a big "corn flake with 2 sides lifted.   they actually showed it in a magazine also,  but when i checked the site...they did not have anything like it.   i'll keep trying...i do have one bead left...helen

 Hi, I just stumbled across some copper plated 10mm discs at Delphiglass.com and they were in the clearance section.  I don't think they are exactly what your're looking for but worth checking out.......Laura

I know exactly what you mean and they are practically impossible to find.  If I could add a picture here I'd be able to show everyone what you mean.  I did order some from www.abeadstore.com but they don't have them right now.  You might contact them and ask if they're ever going to get more in.  You could also try www.wynwoods.com but you'll have to contact them to find out if they have any.  They did have some but sold them before I had a chance to purchase them.  They were a bit pricey as well.  Hizesilver on eBay sells sterling silver ones that I think are reasonably priced.  I think most vendors refer to them as wavy discs and the copper ones are real brushed copper.  Good luck and if you find any will you let me know
