Nemeton:

And when someone takes one of your projects and makes a unique and beautiful version of it, or takes the design in a direction you'd never imagined, that is a wonderful feeling too!

I agree.  I love when my students come in with new versions of things I've taught them.  I think it would be so cool to be at a bead show and see someone wearing one of my designs.

I'm definitely ready for the next step on my bead path.

Thank you to everyone for encouraging Mikki, and all designers, to submit to Beadwork and other Interweave publications!

Feel free to e-mail beadworksubmissions@interweave.com anytime you have questions about the submission process, payment details, etc. We're happy to help.

To answer a few of the questions: Yes, your projects will always be returned. Although you won't be able to retire on what we pay for projects, like Jen said, the exposure is worth it. We always include designer websites in bios and you can sell kits that contain the materials for the project (more info on that in our contributor guidelines).

Keep the great submissions coming!
