earring swap

I am so excited, just got the earrings today and Maryann Draper did a gorgeous job with coin pearls and crystals. Can't wait to do it again! Also received an email from her about the earrings she got from me and I am so glad she let me know that she got them.

I got my earrings yesterday, and they are gorgeous!  Wow!  I was so impressed - I'll have to post a picture of them.  They are copper (my new favorite metal), with tiny little lampworked disks, brass squares and textured silver circles.  But I don't know who made them!  There was no info in my package!  Maybe if I post a picture, someone will recognize them.

I would love to do another earring swap.  I was thinking, maybe a bracelet swap would be a fun idea, too...  If the BD folks don't want to do one, would anybody out there be interested in doing a bracelet swap?

Go to "General Beading Discussions" (especially Bead Chat and Reader's Showcase,) We have a lots of swaps going on -- earrings [SSE(#)], bracelets, beads ... .

Ya know, I saw the bracelet swap about thirty seconds after I posted this.  Hehehe...  That'll teach me to look elsewhere in the forums before I go and say something!  LOL!

 I'm sure there will be another bracelet swap after the current round....you should join us...I got the coolest bracelet...and earrings...and a bead kit...and random beads...( bracelet swap, earring swaps, challenge swap, and The bead swap)

I was so exited about the earring swap...till I got my own earrings back LOL! Wonder how that happened? Well,I would try it again!

I bead everyday, would love to swap with ya. you can see my beading in the Bracelt Swap or SSE Swaps. I feel bad, you getting your own back.

I never met an Earring I wouldn't wear.

I sent in two pairs to swap and got both of them back. One pair sent back is a mistake; two is ... kinda sloppy. * sigh *

Ruth,  First I have to say that I am sorry you weren't happy with your earrings.

But then I have to ask this question, the swap you were in was it the one that Beading Daily organized or the one that has been running for months organized by the members of the forum? I have been following the one that the members oranized and found that all the pictures that have been posted has been very nice. I was also in the first  and second swap and found that all the swappers were very concerned about doing their very best job and sending wonderful earrings. The only reason I haven't been in the last few swaps is because I just had too many pokers in the fire and had to cut back somewhere.

This is the one through Beading Daily, not our forum members' Secret Santa's Ear swap.

I believe there is still a day or two left to sign up for round 7.  Look in the Bead Chat section, and send Inca an email...

I participated in the Beading Daily earring swap. I'm not unhappy with what I got back, it's just that I got back what I sent in to swap. How could I be unhappy with my own work? :)

In any case, it happened, and I hope whatever went wrong here is fixed with the next swap Beading Daily runs.
