Okay. I have a client who wants a custom key chain for her significant other. His favorite colors are purple and orange (difficult combination for me to picture). So I came up with some designs. The first is the design without the name, then the next image is with the name (only his last name). Which design would be best?? I also added an image of an example of one of my key chains (first image), to help you picture the final product.
First, a finished key chain of mine:

Choice 1, 2, 3 or 4?
Apachegirl ~ They are all very nice, I love the colors. My favorite would have to be #1, I actually like them in the order you pictured them. I guess I'm may not be much help but if it was for me I'd go with one of the first 2 designs without the name. Good Luck chosing

Hmmm... I think I like #3 the best.... without the name. I think you lose the design with the name on it. If you are set on putting the name on it, then I'd got with #1... the design is not as strong to confilct with the name then. Thats my 2 cents anyway.

Thanks everyone. I think that the client wants the name -- I only added the designs without the name to show the original design... But I like the designs without the names too. We'll just have to see which design everyone likes best. My client told me she just left the design up to me... the only condition is the colors: purple and orange. Keep voting, y'all!! And THANX!!
apachegirl, my favorite is #3, and I prefer the design without the name. But if you have to add the name, I like the way you designed it with darker colors, like #1. Somehow when you add the lighter color to the name it looks more feminine, and since this is for a man, I'd go with the darker color scheme for the name. Beautiful designs all around!!!
Have a beadiful day!

I vote #2 although #3 is my fav, because you said the client wanted more purple and orange!
OK, if she wants more purple and orange in the design and wants the name, than it would be #4 with the name for me. I like that one best and the frame really showcases the name.

Since you're doing this for a man, I'd go with #4. The colors are darker and less of the lighter purple is being used. The design also isn't quite as busy and in my experience, they tend to prefer something simple. KEWL design too!!!
I like number 4 with name. Very unique and has the colors.

I also like #4 the best. It just seems to pop more with the name on it.

#3 with the name would be my vote! Great designs for all of them regardless.
Congrats!
Have a great day!

I like #1 with a name, and I like all the others without. Adding a name to the others makes it look to busy to me, but they are all lovely. Purple & orange is a great color combo, btw!
