     Radegunde,

This post has gotten me so very interested in viking knit.  I am dying to try it!!!  I've been looking it up on the internet and have already asked my husband if he would make me a drawplate.  Thanks!!!

Well Kokopelli, I really do regret that I will not be able to participate with your viking knit class, but it is a bit far off from my home (the nearest southgerman frontier-town, Kehl or Offenburg, would already take a voyage of 7 to 8 hours by train)

From Kehl and Offenburg it would still be 150 km to my home town, so you're excused for this class. Wink I still have to make some coiled end caps and s-clasps, so the participants can finish their necklaces/bracelets. And making them myself will be cheapest for everyone.

Pulling the Viking Knit to often through the drawplate happened to my with my first bracelet. It looked so beautiful and then I pulled it through the next hole. Oh my...... But I'm glad that the wire twisting worked for you, too, and no wire stuck out.

    Hello everybody,

I very proudly present a photo of my new bracelet!!Smile

(And I'm really proud to finally have understood how to insert photos!)

P.S. Well actually it still didn't work, I don't know why. It was there just above the text (and editing I can still see it), but once I posted, it didn't come over); it is quite frustrating.
