    Going to camp

So my mom and sister go out to a summer camp for a week every year... this year my sister is going as the nurse and my mom always goes as a cook. Yesterday morning around 10am, my mom calls me and tells me that one of their counsellors has had a hissy fit and backed out.... so guess who the lucky substitute is? You got it, me.

I'm really not that excited to go; I'll be charge of a cabin of 10-year old girls and every year there's a ton of drama, which I hate. But to make myself feel better, I bought some purple beads, glass focal beads and stretchy cord to either make friendship bracelets for the girls or to teach the girls how to make them (I haven't decided yet... the camp also starts tomorrow and I found out I was going yesterday...).

I will be back Thursday. I wish all of my American friends a happy Independence Day and we shall talk soon!

Thanks for letting us know Briggs, and I hope you have a good time even if you're not expecting to.  We'll see you when you get back!

    I do not envy you!  I'd think 5 & 6 y.o. would be better than 10, at least they're not 13's!.

Teaching would be harder, but the results would be more gratifying.  [for you & them]
