 Just an FYI to anyone sending mail to Norway. I discovered yesterday, (after Pkging for Priority:) EXPRESS Mail with the USPS cost less than Priority. also, They provide the Mailer, You also get a Tracking # and you only have to Insure it for $101.00(it was cheap too).It is suspose to arrive in 7 -10 business days.

Prioriy, It gets there when it gets there, No promises. No Tracking # and the Insurance cost more.(Than EXpress Mail)

Postal Clerk suggested I put my package in the Priority boxes to protect the 'Elphants that sit on the mail"LOL

I just sent mine regular first class mail. It was a bubble mailer with a small box inside. It was only a couple of dollars. I mailed an envelope to Jeni ( APO to Italy ) and to Inca and both were just over $5 together.  

Thanks for the information though. I will have to remember that for the next shipment!

And thanks for the info about the elephants ... I got one of those yesterday .... suppose to be a box ... but it was more or less flat .... good thing the content was just seed beads so no harm done. And the diffrent colors was still in their own "Homes" ...

Inca, I'd love to send you some beads!  I can't quite tell from the photo, but what kind of beads form the base of the necklace?  They look like pearly white 11/0 seed beads (which I have), but are they something else?  I can send you a few Swarovski crystals, too.  What are you planning to do for clasps?

I am planing on using anything between 15/o's and 12(15)mm  so if you have some cool seedbeads that is cool - half the point is that none of the strands are alike.

so seedbeads, crystals, beads, pearls or gemstones - all is good. in any shade of white or clear, matt or sparkly...

No problem Mary (is that okay?  to call you Mary?).  I just wanted to let Inca know she needn't worry about your having spent $101 dollars to mail the package.  Sounds like you got a good deal on mailing it! When I have sent Inca things in the past though I just send them first class with no customs form and they get there fine.

How weird is this Pam? When I shipped the beads to Inca and to Jeni, even though Jeni was APO, I still had to do the short customs form. This was at a sub station postal contracted site but when they keyed in the addresses into their computer, it came up that I had to do the custom form. Which is no big deal, my address, their address, contents "Beads" and value "$0" so that Inca wouldn't have to pay any tax. Then I signed and dated it. Took just a couple of minutes. But if that gets it there quick and without any headaches for Inca & Jeni, that is fine with me!

Funny how the same main service has different rules...oh well!

Inca - Last time I mailed on Saturday and you got them like on Thursday. So if I mailed it on Monday, you should start stalking your mail person this weekend, Monday at the latest? Just post to let me know when you get them...Please
