(It does not necessarily reflect the facts.)  Apparently, the vast majority here feel the same about their work, compared to that of the others.  For example, I made a necklace for my SIL; when a woman saw it and asked her about it, my SIL said I'd made it, she wanted to know if I sold jewelry at the local 'RenFest'.  I still do not like it as much as does my SIL.

Recently, I was making a braeclet for a silent auction, a young teen said, "How much do you wannt for that? I've only got $50.00 in my purse."  Humpph!!  I may make one for her, if she doesn't get it at the auctiuonj, I've alread got a request from a beader to make one if fhe can't get it there.  I may get two sales from it -- WOW!!  I prefer to give rather than sell, but I also prefer to do OoaK.

So,  DON'T be so crfitical of yourself !!!

I like the earring swap because earrings are lightweight and so keep shipping costs down (important for those who have to ship over the pond), are easy to do so even beginners can join us. And I think no one should feel obligated to do more than one pair. If you want to make more or have more than one idea for your mark, do it.

And Mary, I'm sure your mark won't be disappointed. We all do our best, beginners and advanced beaders, and no one should be disappointed by a pair of earrings especially designed for her/him. So come on, don't worry! Have fun!

Exactly Dagi, nobody is disappointed with these earrings!  I love getting something I wouldn't have thought of knowing that they were made with me in mind.  That's just so incredibly nice.  I wish my family treated me that well!

I received mine from Lisa in the Marshall Islands but haven't had the time to snap some photos yet. Will try and do that in the next day or two so I can post them here. They are lovely and I love wearing them and telling the story about our earring swap.

 Well today is Wednesday here in the US and she is a day ahead of us which would make it Thursday there. Thursday is a mail plane day so lets hope!

They came, they came!!!  THANK YOU, Cat!  I love the colors!  They're so pretty, and the dangle-factor is perfect.  I really don't have many dangly earrings, but seems like I'm getting to like them more and more these days.  Christine (my daughter) loves to make danglies with chain, and they're so pretty.  I've been hoarding some briolettes that I'm probably going to make some danglies with.  Cat, these earrings are just what I needed!

Did you take photos to post?  If not, I'll get a couple tomorrow (gotta run open the shop now, I'm running VERY late).

 Well it's about friggin time! I've been waiting and emailing Inca like crazy! I hope you like them! I liked the fun colors to work with. Everyone likes the blue green aqua colors and I have already done something with those so I wanted to do something else. Yes I have pictures, of course not good ones but I'll post what I have.

Ok these are the earrings I made for Lisa. I should have turned the post all the way to hang straight, oops. Oh well just pics for me anyway. I used green MOP coins and raspberry quartz (if I remember correctly that's what they were called) and sterling findings.

and it's about time you finally received them. I was starting to worry a bit!
