Reveal "Secret Santas Ear" Round 2

 Talk about falling behind. I've been extra busy again. Now we have my fiancee's kid from his 1st marriage visiting us for awhile. This is the 1st ive met her and the 1st i've had to deal with an older kid for any length of time.

Thanks Cat for posting pics, tho i can say the earrings in person are even better! I totally love what i got! I'm wearing the sea theamed ones today, wore the fairy ones the other day. I forgot to get a good pic of the earrings i made Donna B4 i sent them, somewhere on my phone i think i got a pic, but its dark and poor quality.

So many beautiful earrings went thru the mail again. All of you are so talented! I want to learn the weave you used Dagmar, i absolutely love the leaf shape of the earrings then that necklace looks like it could potentially be simple and i can imagine doing it in all sorts of color combos, i'm only just learning to do some weaving :P I bookmarked the link u gave us for the earrings to read later. Way to go with the fishing lures! I'm so going to go get some of those now :) They make perfect jewelry componets ;)

 Michelle I got those lampwork beads on Etsy. The lady had a bunch of pairs and I just liked them, as well as some others and figured it couldn't hurt just having them.

I will have to look the etsy store up again but I know that she has a website too. I know the name was fireandfibers. Let me check.....

 Jeni finally got her earrings, so I thought I'd post pictures.  The first pair are the ones I made.  The second pair is the same design my daughter Hope picked out for her teacher and I liked them so much I had to make them.  The third pair, my daughter Grace wanted to make on her own.  She did them almost all herself, I helped just a little with the wire wrap.

Kirsten, they are all beautiful! I really like the design you made for Jeni. Very creative and cooooool!

And congrats to your daughters for the choices they made. And also for their skills. Soon they'll design nice jewelry, too.

 All the designs on the Thread is Awesome. I have seen some of these patterns in Bracelets/Necklaces, never thought to make Earring. (I gotta think outside my tiny little box)

I just found this thread -- kept looking in the original thread for round 2!  I'm so very, very impressed!  There's not a single pair of earrings for this round that I wouldn't be proud to wear.  We got some serious talent!!!

I must chime in to say I LOVE my earrings!  I was shocked to get 3 pairs.  I feel a bit guilty now only making one!  Guess I'll have to up my game for the next round...

 I really don't want anyone to feel like they need to make more than one pair of earrings.  I only do it because I'm able to.  I don't get at all upset if I receive one pair of earrings.  And I can't promise I'll always send out multiple pairs.  Grace had been asking about the earring swap and I asked her if she wanted to make a pair.  Then while we're in the bead store I was thinking, Jeni like purple and the pair Hope made was purple.  I'm impulsive like that :-)

I think the point of the swap was to make it easy and affordable so more people could do it.  So, please, if anyone is feeling like they need to do more, you just stop thinking that!!! LOL

I like the earring swap because earrings are lightweight and so keep shipping costs down (important for those who have to ship over the pond), are easy to do so even beginners can join us. And I think no one should feel obligated to do more than one pair. If you want to make more or have more than one idea for your mark, do it.

And Mary, I'm sure your mark won't be disappointed. We all do our best, beginners and advanced beaders, and no one should be disappointed by a pair of earrings especially designed for her/him. So come on, don't worry! Have fun!
