The Contact Pull-Down Menu on the BD

Wow Sherri, thanks.  I never even knew that was there.  I just did that.  That means that everybody has a link on their "Manage Friends" thing in their profile where all the missing stuff winds up about who accepted them as friends, etc.  Really, thank you for clarifying this, I tried to figure this out but couldn't.  How come I got emails from some people but not from others?  Now I wonder what else I'm missing. 

Jeni, I get that exact message when I click on you to send you an email.  I can't do it from here, I have to get out and go to my Outlook Express (yes, I still use that old thing, he he...)

I became curious, so I went looking,  Clicked 'EDIT'; just my stuff, clicked on my "name" and ended up in a new place.  Deleted 3 dupe posts on my 'wall'.  Now know a few more things I didn't know before.

Sherri, to add you as a friend, I first went to your bio page.  Then down on the right side of the page, under Options, I clicked Add Sherri as a friend.  I then got the pop-up box that looks like the e-mail box.  If I remember correctly, I typed a message for you in the box and clicked Send.  Did you get an e-mail?  You then accepted the friend request, right?

So it looks like it works from both the bio page and the Contact pull-down.  Does anyone know what "Start conversation" is all about?

I'm not sure why the email box is there.  I didn't get an email from you.  But I did see your friend request on my bio page where I accepted it.

I do too Pam and I like it! My phone gets emails too but I hate using a phone for anything but to talk.

I got a friend request email yesterday, but I can't get to my page to accept it.  I did email Michelle though, so hopefully she'll know who can fix it for me.

Hi Pam ~ Our unofficial bird is quite plentiful here & I've never seen the official one here in Juneau but we have tons of bald eagles

Hi Billy ~ We have lots of dragonflies here in Juneau, between them & the hummingbirds sometimes you have to watch where you go

 WOW! SO glad someone started this thread (sorry, too tired to remember who it was now...) I had 2 pending friend requests I didn't know about. Like someone said, I get emails about some, but not others. Well, if you requested me, and didn't hear from me, it was because I didn't know!
