Receipts for Under $25--don't worry!

Don't worry if you did not send receipts for your Under $25 finalist entry. Your chance of winning was not affected at all! Voting was solely done by readers and viewers online. Should you be notified that you are a winner, we will need to verify your receipts and you will be told again where to send scans, copies or faxes of the receipts.

Leslie if you happen to see this, I had a query for next year.  If we're using items we bought and don't have receips for anymore, would an estimate (ie a printout of my FMG wish list with all items and their prices) suffice just to prove it meets the qualifications?

My other issue would be that if I do have the receipt (esp from FMG) it's likely to be 10 pages long and I might have used just 3 items for my project.  Just wanted a way to make it more streamlined.

 Hi and thanks for this practical question. It is a dilemma we did not consider--when you use stash stuff and no longer have actual receipts!

I would say that a copy of the item's listing and cost from a web site or catalog would suffice even if you no longer have your personal receipt. But a web shot or copy of a page must be provided, we can't simply be referred to a web site.
