Mine did too, so I went into edit next to my name and than into "site options" I found that I had checked this checked as NO
Send notifications
Set to "yes" if you want to receive autotmatic notification when
content you are subscribed to changes. Set to "no" if you do not want
to receive any automatic email notifications.
so I changed this to a YES than clicked CHANGE at the bottom of the box. I am not sure yet that that will fix it but it was worth a try.
