I'm glad you brought that up because I honestly missed that piece when I voted-I had to go check it out.  I'm in the metals category too but I really liked the silver necklace with the amethyst briolettes and the squiggles.

I'm a little late to this discussion (I tend to lurk too much), but one of my entries also made the finals! It's in the seed bead category. This is the first contest I've ever entered so I'm very excited to even make the finals.
