Beadwork's Feb/March issue!!!

I just got it today, and I am looking forward to a hot bath later once my husband can watch the baby when I can really dig into it, but wow.  Wow.  I love the project from Marcia Decoster, and I love the project from Scarlet Lanson, too!!!!  I can't wait to start on them!

Also, just from glancing through it, I was completely intrigued by the Challenge pieces.  I can't wait until I can relax and get a closer look at them!

Just got it today? I got mine Thursday or Friday. Great issue with a lot of crystal projects. I just happened on a broken net bag made from what appears to be 4mm jet/obsidian/black onyx(I know that they are not glass, clay, or ceramic) faceted rounds, so I have a couple of hundred of them or so to work on something with.Yay me!

 Marcia's project is just a wee bit over my head for the moment, but hopefully, I'll soon be doing similiar things myself. I hope so anyway. I finally got some REAL beads to work with and they make all of the difference in the world.

 Oh! I'm so jealous! It won't be in newsagents here for another month or so (I guess the up-side is that I only got the december/jan issue a little over a week ago!)

I always look at the beadwork site to see the little pics of what will be in the next issue - I don't want to, because I want  it to be a surprise but I can't help myself!

Last issue there was a big gap on the stand where it usually sits, and guess where the 1 copy they had was! The sales assistant was reading it! grrrr!

And now you are saying that the Challenge pieces are intriguing and I can't take this anticipation ANYMORE!  

I am soooo glad you like my project Jennifer.  I have gotten tons of e-mails about it.  But gosh darnit if I have to wait ONE MORE DAY to see it, I'm going to lose my mind!

I do not understand why everyone gets to see it before me. [:'(] "Waaaaahhhh" cries the designer

p.s. to Elizabeth, you can look all you want at the little Beadwork icons, because they keep "Scarlett's Style" a secret until it comes out!  and apparently a secret from me for weeks after the fact, lol!

That's too funny - I'm usually the LAST to receive things up here in the Adirondacks, a.k.a the Middle of Nowhere.  LOL!  My post office does offer great service, but it still usually takes things a day or two longer to reach here than it does other places since I live in a very rural area, and we don't have mail delivery.  (We have to actually go down to the post office and check our own boxes!)

Oooooh, and last night I started Marcia's project.  I can't wait to finish it!  I used slightly different bead colors ('cause that's all I had, LOL!), and I'll have to post a picture of the finished piece.  I looooooooove right angle weave.

It'll be a while before I can get my hands on a copy over here in the UK, too - but the anticipation is all part of the fun!

Mine's not here yet either, but I did get a survey email, so at least I know it'll be here soon...I did just get my new copy of B&B so at least I have something to lok at.

I wish I'd actually GET my copy.  It's kind of a bummer to subscribe, then see the issue in the store.  I paid for my subscription in January, and by now the Feb/March issue should be here.  Customer service said 'fifteen days' for re-delivery....we're now into day 16 and no mag. 

I'm sad.
