So lovely beads, shiny like old coins.....but oh so uneven. So,- what to do with them?

Ingrid...........uneven in what way? do you mean because they are differing sizes, or more to my thinking because they are hanging sort of wonky? Need more info to help.

If they are hanging wonky, what did you use to string them? What is the bead size also. Donna

Ouch, half of the text have fallen out....sorry about that.

I chose this design to rather show off these uneven beads, all different sizes and shapes. But it really enhances the texture and shine, like old antique copper...

Thanks for your comment Donna. Smile

Ingrid, ok, so not a problem at all. I like the necklace the way it is......in fact even though I am personally obsessive AND compulsive, I do like irregular things just because they ARE irregular. I also like things that are not so totally shiny, maybe because I am tired of all the intensely sparkled up items we normally see.......maybe because I am of a "certain" age group who wore some rather rag tag looking jewelry........giggle.

And, yes I like the color and effect also. Thanks for sharing, now I am going back to my making a flower and yes, the beads are pretty irregular and need to be for this flower. Donna

Thank you very much. It is not that complex, really, quite simple actually. I first stitched a 3 bead ladder, then embellished it with graduated loops. :D

It's a lovely necklace, Ingrid.  ican't bead sew any longer with my broken thumb.  I've tried, but the needles aren't thick enough or firm enough like regular sewing needles for me to be able to grasp any more.  Oh, well.  When I get the urge to sew, I have my embroidery, which is equally soothing.Smile
