You need to go into your profile area, or there abouts, and choose the time zone you want used for your messages.  Should be where you choose the order in which you receive your messages.

I'm in the CDT zone, and the time line says 5:08 PM for your message..

     I just had a thought......Stan, you'll appreciate this......

This particular discussion thread is 26 pages long.....WOW......BUT, how long would it be if we all stayed on topic?

Less than half as long, and as of this post [if no one sneaks in ahead of me] 22 more to 400!

    Re: Possible Bead Swap Option

I can help boost that number to reach the 400 mark.  Since I am included in swap #2, I continue to read each and every entry on this subject.  All the interest and enthusiasm increases my thoughts on what I'll contribute.

Tomorow there is a trunk show at my LBS, the first trunk show I will have attended, so I can't wait to see what that is all about.  I know that the idea of this whole bead swap is to let go of some beads that you no longer have a use for, or simply want to surrender to a deserving fellow-beader, but my thoughts will also be at the trunk show for something unique that I can contribute, and hopefully inspire someone to create a beautiful piece with a little help from me.

    It's all great fun!

Jeni - Do we have an update on the first package? Did you get it yet? Or did I miss the posting? Just curious!

Thanks Inca! I knew that she had been on a trip but I was just curious if it was waiting for her when she got back. Yeah! It made it safely like we knew it would!

Yeah, I'm here now, and the package arrived safely.  I was a bit worried when I got home and there was no package and no delivery notice, but apparantly customs noticed it, because they charged me extra to accept it.  Oh well, what can you do?  It's a chance you take with this sort of thing.  I suppose we were due at least one delay.  It will be on the way back to Dawn tomorrow morning.

Off topic:  We did have a ton of fun in Dublin, and we raised many a pint of Guinness to absent friends!  Kidlet & I were both sick, but we had a good time anyway.  He loved the St. Patrick's Day parade, and we took him to the zoo-he got to see elephants for the 1st time.  Funny that Dublin zoo has 5 elephants and neither of the 2 zoos we've been to in Italy have any.
