Because it has been sooooo long since I have posted anything, I have heaps to show! But I am going to spread them out over a few posts/days.
I made this necklace to put in my friends shop andwanted something gothic but simple and elegant. This is what I came up with
I chose a red czech glass bead for the centre because I wanted to put a tiny dash of colour in it that probably wouldn't be noticed at first but then get caught under a gleam of light. The rose is off centre and sits around the collar bone on a netted lace base. The flower petals were done in brick stitch.

Love the texture. Your design is wonderful -- off-setting the rose and that spot of color. Thanks for sharing.

This is a lovely necklace and you have captured the gothic theme perfectly while still keeping the design elegant and stylish.
It also looks very vintage and reminds me of some of the Victorian designs that were handmade from Whitby Jet.
The red bead is perfect and I imagine that it will look beautiful when it catches the light

Your black rose necklace is delicate and elegant. I like the style very much even though I don't the color is perfect.
