TC and anyone else interested in cloning my hubby.......... unfortunately there is no tutorial, he came that way. We are both interested in each others activities, although his metal lathe is not so exciting to me. He even made me looms out of bamboo and one out of an exotic green jungle wood. So cloning just might not do it, training would be mandatory. He was a single and foot loose kinda guy, a sailor and traveler, but I would say that the way I got him to stop and pay attention (and then I hog tied him afters) was cooking. Yes, ladies cooking. I have a Ph.D. in Gumbo, and there are lots of other ethnic foods that I am fairly expert at, curries are among our fave dishes, Indian in general and Louisiana and soups and biscuits. Yep, in retrospect I think that was the training tool that worked the best. He is tall and slim and it has taken me years to put a bit of weight on him, so good metabolism for eating. Donna, laughing.

You might be a beader if, you see something interesting or nice, (or both!) you visualize it in pixels in your head!

You might be a beader if...

...you start designing new projects in the margins of notebooks during really boring classes. Big Smile

We must really all be cut from the same cloth, it seems... I always imagine pretty things as potential bead patterns, and my school notebooks would always end up with doodles of bead patterns. My boyfriend is also a sweetie about my hobby, never complaining when I drag him to bead stores and even giving me ideas and advice on color choices. He has an eye for color, since he's a painter.

Hmm... You might be a beader if you stare at other people's beaded jewelry like a weirdo.

I stare at other peoples' jewelry too, lol.

And I don't have a significant other at the moment, but I do have parents. Sooooo...

You might be a beader if your dad helps you choose color patterns to take pictures of at a quilt show, lol.

I like your idea, HoneyBeads, and have enjoyed all the LOL responses.  Here's another:

You might be a beader if...

Each of your friends show up at your house wearing their beaded necklace gifts from you.

So many hilarious comments Big Smile

You minght be a beader.....

*When you during a emergency visit, waiting for the doctor with terrible stomache ache starts thinking that the colour on the examining table would be a lovely colour in a necklace.

* When it sounds tap tap tap tap on the floor when you get undressed, getting ready for bed in the night.

I want a supporting husband too, Mine says "It´s now ewen" when I show him a embroidry or other jewelry that is sewn.
He like some of the colours on my seed beads thou, he uses them as eyes for making flies for fly fishing.

Hope you all are having a great day.

You might be a beader {in college} if...

...you don't go away for spring break; you stay at home and bead all the things you wanted to bead but couldn't because of school. >.>

I must be a weirdo too... I now find myself staring at other people's jewelry at the shops! Ppl think I'm the weirdo that stares at everyone's chests!! A few times, they've glared back and demanded what i was looking at, I just say I was admiring your jewelry, its really beautiful. Then I walk away cos I'm embarassed... bleh!

Also, you might be a beader if you are admiring other ppl's ugly jewelry, and musing over in your head, how to fix and beautify it!

You might be a beader if you've got every color of beads in diff sizes, shapes and types, and still get stuck for ideas, and then you go and buy even more beads to satisfy that idea in your head. So much so that you feel you can just open your own shop!
