Where can I find good patterns for beaded bookmarks? I want to make some for Christmas gifts. I see a huge number of alternatives on how to make them, and I am wondering if others have made them, which way is the best?
I would suggest "needle point or embroidery pattern" as they convert to beading patterns easily.

Or you could use something like this, and just add a fringe tassel or some beads and charms on the end.

Oi...many have contacted me about how they 'only' bead "Book Marks" on their looms, lol
I love the last idea here, beadiecat. Or, you can weave something on a loom, then use a 'cruchie clasp'..or also known here at 'ribbon clamps', at each end, then still add a bead on each end.

Hi, Erin!
I hope I won't be called a blasphemer, but I don't use a loom for my bookmarks at all! I do some wirework instead. Does that make me a bad girl? (lol)

I can see I have my work cut out for me, with you.
JK, wirework is wonderful!
What can I say? When your dominant thumb only has 10° range of motion, you learn there's just some things you can't do anymore. I'm learning to adapt pretty well, I think. Besides, aside from the occasional bout of sore fingers, wireworking is fun!
