Thank you so much Val!!is there any colour you don´t like My next piece is in oxblood, terracotta, green & black. But it´s not finished yet I ran out of black seed beads size 11/0
That is so creative! I wish I had your patience to deal with all the tiny seed beads. And green is my favorite color too! :)

thank you so much.I always said that embroidery is NOT for me, i do not have the patience.hmmm and now it´s one of the funniest ting i tried (so far)
Niwas,
You're welcome!
No, not many. I don't like yellow at all! I have no idea why, because our sun is yellow. But I don't like yellow one bit. Probably because it looks hideous on me.
Ooooo, squee! That sounds absolutely gorgeous! See! You keep picking colors that look really good on me!(lol) But red is my absolute favorite color. I think I was genetically predisposed to like it: it's my dad's favorite color, it was both my grandmothers' favorite color, and I think it might have been either my paternal great-grandfather or great-grandmother's favorite color, too. See? It was inherited!
Hope you're able to get more seeds; I'm drooling in anticipation!
I mostly work with looming from patterns, so my off loom projects keep me "limber" and I've done some bead embroidery pieces................they are a total trial for me as I fuss and fume and they seem to take absolutely forever to complete. But that's me, and I keep going back for more because I am fascinated with what you can do with it. I have two bead pals who do bead embroidery and they make it look so simple, just keep sewing things on and voila! a treasure.............I have to work very hard at it because I don't do it as often. I am working the end of an orange bead challenge and my last piece is an oversized orange and white bead embroidery bracelet........a large gazania (was supposed to be a sunflower, but I needed to use more orange and surprise it turned into a gazania so I got to use orange, squash and a bit of green in the form of 15/o Toho's).
Your bead embroidery is very nice, it is sort of doll-like looking maybe just because of the expression on that face and the sweet flowers. But it is good work and green is one of my fave colors. Can't wait to see your oxblood project.............it is an odd color to work with. Donna
Its so sweet!! cant wait to see more of your pieces...
thanks alot all of you!! i´m going to a pearl gathering this weekwnd and there´s no more then 8 pearl shops particitating, so I´m bunkering some black seed beads there so i can finish my project. hmmmm I am kind of using black to most of my projects.Val: yellow is´nt my favourite colour either,I wonder why, hmmEmbroidery is so much fun and there is no ending in what you can do,I really appreciate you guys telling me you like it,I mean i would still be doing it but it´s always nice beeing appreciated and to hear that others like what you´r doing. thank you once more to all of you.
Sounds like a fun weekend. Using lotsa black....hmm....either you're in a black mood, you're getting ready for Halloween, or you like Goth.(lol)
Probably because it's such an annoyingly cheerful and bright color, and only 6 people in the world can wear it.
Sounds like you found your niche, Good for you! You obviously have a gift for the bead embroidery.
Yes i´m looking forward for tomorrow!
NA I´m just boring....I really like black with an accent colour, I think i have black in most pieces i do.I have been in a black mood for the last 2 years but I have always loved black, i tried to persuade my mother to paint my bed room walls in black. She refused.I hope i found my niche because this is so much fun, but I like to try different things and 6 months ago I was all in to Scrapbooking, before that photpgraphy, painting et.c
Make sure to have a good time!
Oh, come now!(g) Well....all I can say is, your mother is very wise. You don't want to live in a black hole!
I do, too. I've done calligraphy(still do), acid glass etching, and still like photography. I seem to be the only one in the family that can take a decent picture.
Val i had a wonderful time this saturday, i mean come on 6 bead store in the same room!!!
I meat some lovely beaders that I only talked to over the internet so much fun.I finally managed to finish 2 pieces after that visit, where i bought the missing beads to finish them.
So glad to hear it! Holy moly, I would have gone hog wild!(lol)
My sister and youngest niece came up for the holiday weekend. Gave my niece her very first piece of Boutique V jewelry: a cupcake necklace. She squealed with delight! Got a couple pairs of earrings done. Must remember to borrow Dad's camera and start photographing. Glad you were able to find the beads to finish your pieces!
Glad you´r niece enjoyed yous necklace. Yes you should photograph your jewelry ;-)I cant remember seeing you´r name on any jewelry lately? /niwa
