I feel it's morally wrong to celebrate an instrument of death in a piece of beadwork. I love Beading Daily, and I don't mean personal offense to its editor -- but I feel very strongly about this, and I had to say so.
I have to agree with you - I have always thought it was very creepy seeing jewelry made from bullet casings etc. Jewelry and bullets are not compatible as far as I am concerned.

Art is in the eye of the beholder. I'd be more concerned about where the spend shell casings came from (hunting, target practice -- acceptable (to me)). Hopefully everyone knows the difference between a 'bullet' and a 'bullet casing' -- which our editor obviously does.
